Sealant is mainly used in the door and window for insulating glass sealing, waterproof and weatherproof sealing, waterproofing and weatherproof sealing of doors and windows and holes.

Sealant should be tested for appearance, weather resistance, physical and mechanical properties and compatibility before use to ensure that the sealant can meet the design requirements. The tightness of the insulating glass depends on the structural integrity, which is a prerequisite for ensuring the tightness. The service life of the insulating glass sealant determines the service life of the insulating glass.

The insulating glass system adopts double-channel sealing. The first sealing glue prevents the intrusion of water vapor. Generally, butyl rubber is used. The second sealing rubber maintains the stability of the structure, generally adopting silicone rubber or polysulfide rubber. The service life of the sealant determines the service life of the insulating glass, so the sealing process of the insulating glass needs to be strictly controlled.

(1) Quality requirements for coated butyl rubber

1. Butyl rubber coating should be uniform in width and width, and there should be no fracture phenomenon. The width of the butyl rubber should cover the plane of the aluminum strip and the width of the section should not be less than 3mm, and the thickness should satisfy 0.3mm±0.1mm. The peripheral glue should not exceed 1mm, and the glue should be evenly fed. The corner glue should not exceed 2mm.

2. The inner surface of the aluminum frame should not have butyl rubber, dirt and other phenomena and keep the surface clean. In operation, adjust the glue discharge amount and belt conveying speed in time to ensure uniform coating.

(2) Quality requirements for silicone sealant

1. The glass surface residue must be cleaned to keep the glass surface clean.

2. When the glass is placed, it is not allowed to press the small piece in large pieces. The glass is placed in the middle of the transport vehicle and evenly separated by the gasket. The glass of the same project is placed on the same car as much as possible. There should be a matching packing card on each glass. If the finished glass is placed outdoors, the crepe should be covered in time and placed neatly.

3. Focus on the corner coating, can not have dents, leaking glue, do the right angle sealing treatment, the rubber surface can not have bubbles, gas eyes when applying glue, silicone glue should be butyl paste.

4. The mixing ratio of the two-component silicone rubber is subject to the manufacturer's data. The mixed rubber should have no color difference, and the glue is bright and black is good.

Third, the door and window frame structure itself waterproof and weatherproof seal

(1) Fine seam glue

There are many slits in aluminum alloy and wood-aluminum composite doors and windows, such as corner gaps and gaps in the middle joints. Rainwater will penetrate through these slits, resulting in watertight doors and windows, reduced airtight performance, and accelerated door and window corrosion. Such gaps are usually below 0.2 mm, so ordinary sealants such as silicone rubber are not suitable. Special fine seam glue has great strength, high elongation, proper permeability, and can play a good sealing effect. In order to reduce the hazard caused by the gap, in addition to improving the angular accuracy of the group during the production process, the application of the fine seam glue is an indispensable link.

Before applying the fine seam glue, ensure that the section of the profile is clean, avoiding the influence of the aluminum scraps and other debris on the corner gap and the sealing quality. Use a blow gun, a round file, a blade and other tools to clean the profile section. Apply a fine seam glue to the profile section, and ask for fullness and uniformity. After the group angle is applied, the residual glue will be erased in time. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to the completion of the frame in 30 minutes to prevent the solidification of the glue from losing the sealing effect.

In addition, since most of the outer opening windows are sealed, the rainwater can easily enter the metal slot, so the fixing screw holes of the outer opening frame or the lower jaw hardware and accessories are also hidden dangers of water leakage. After the water is accumulated in the lower mouth, the rain easily penetrates into the profile cavity through the screw hole, causing water leakage. The fixing screws here should be glued before the installation. The amount of glue should be appropriate to ensure that the glue can contact the profile wall and fill the gap between the full screw and the profile hole.

(2) Group angle

When using aluminum alloy and wood-aluminum composite door and window angles, special angle glue is needed to improve product performance. Before the corners, the aluminum profiles and corners must be cleaned to ensure no oil.

For products using aluminum corners, it is necessary to apply a corner glue around the aluminum profile cavity or apply a set of corner glue on the four sides of the corner code, and then set the corners. For products that use composite corners, fill the corners after the corners of the group until the corners of the corners have glue overflow.

The wood-aluminum composite door and window wood group corners use a special set of angle glue to ensure strong adhesion and excellent waterproof performance. After the corner is finished, remove the visible surface glue (Figure 5). At the same time, the non-visible surface is sealed with wax, and the double seal can reduce the corrosion of the section and the probability of occurrence of mildew.

When aluminum-clad wood and solid wood doors and windows are set at the corner, use a glue applicator to apply white latex to the groove, place the glued frame on the frame machine, adjust the presser foot, and set the corresponding pressure according to different woods. Remove excess white latex.

(3) Silicone glue

Although the seam glue and the set angle glue were used in the group angle, it was found that due to the exposed angular position of the aluminum group, rainwater splashed along the gap of the wall through the gap portion of the wall into the profile cavity caused by the long-term use. In order to prevent problems before they occur, and at the same time increase the aesthetics, it is necessary to make a transparent neutral silicone sealant in the corner of the group after the corner is finished. In addition, black rubber sealant or transparent sealant (except the middle position) is applied to the lower corners of the frame of the opening part of the door and window. The glue should be even and beautiful, and effectively fill the gap. It is necessary to improve the sealing and beauty of the door and window, and reduce the amount. It is strictly forbidden to use scrap rubber and useless glue.

Install a water stop film on the joint between the middle and the frame with the opening fan, and insert the silicone sealant at the position of the injection hole. When the base of the water stop piece overflows, the injection is stopped to ensure that the silicone glue is filled with the water stop piece. Cavity. Clean the spilled silicone gel in time to ensure a clean surface. The glue in the middle position is mainly to let the rainwater entering the inner cavity of the door and window profile be discharged in the respective door and window unit, to avoid the flow between the various units, and it is difficult to check the water leakage point.

Before installing the duckbill strip and fixing the waterproof strip, it is necessary to continuously apply black neutral silicone sealant in the slot of the aluminum and wood gap and the left and right vertical sides (the inner buckle is back 100mm~150mm). After the duckbill strip and the fixed waterproof strip are installed, the sealant can be filled full and without gaps. After the glue is applied, the strip must be installed as soon as possible to prevent the sealant from solidifying and the strip cannot be installed. Here, the glue is mainly to prevent the rainwater entering the water storage chamber from entering the indoor cavity through the slit of the rubber strip slot. Generally, the rainwater enters the indoor cavity and the water leakage of the door and window can be caused. It can be said that the duckbill rubber strip and the fixed waterproof rubber strip are doors and windows. The key seal of water leakage. The rubber strip installation channel is intermittently glued, and the adhesive strip is prevented from sticking to the decorative surface of the profile.

It is confirmed by a large number of watertight experiments that the main reason for the leakage of doors and windows is that the rainwater enters the indoor side through the rubber strip base under the action of wind pressure, which causes water leakage. Here, the requirements for the glue are stricter, and the glue is required to be continuously uninterrupted, the appearance is smooth and flawless, the filling is uniform, and the corner position is smooth without edges and corners. During the rubbering process, violent impact should be avoided to prevent deformation caused by the glue gun and the glass extrusion colloid. Once the sealant is finished, it is difficult to repair it, so it is necessary to improve the worker's operation skills. If necessary, the rubber can be glued.

(4) Special adhesive for rubber strip

The corner position of the strip is 45° chamfered, and the bottom of the strip is kept 1mm~2mm, and the incision position is glued. 502 glue is easy to react with the rubber strip, and the bonding performance is poor. It is brittle, hard and easy to aging after bonding. It is not recommended. It is possible to find an adhesive that meets the requirements of use by experimental comparison.

Fourth, doors and windows and holes waterproof and weatherproof seal

After the window frame is connected to the window opening, styrofoam is required to fill the gap between the wall and the window frame. Generally 2h ~ 3h (prolonged in winter time) styrofoam curing, the styrofoam is trimmed to remove excess styrofoam. Then seal the inner and outer casings with a sealant, and pay attention to the fullness and beauty.
