As a country rich in traditional culture, Uzbekistan also holds various festivals each year to inherit folk customs and history.

Due to the abundant natural resources, modern Uzbekistan is one of the five countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States with relatively strong economic strength. Not only that, but modern Uzbekistan is also the only country in Central Asia that has the ability to manufacture airplanes, and it is also the only country in the region that produces modern automobiles, trucks and high-quality agricultural machinery.

Outside the Uzbekistan Pavilion there is an ostrich sculpture symbolizing freedom and new life, symbolizing happiness and prosperity. In the center of the pavilion, two cylindrical sculptures are wound up and the sculpture base is placed in the fountain. Above the sculpture is the hemisphere that shows the blue sky, white clouds and birds. According to Almiashaeva, the two cylindrical sculptures are pointing upwards, symbolizing Uzbekistan’s harmonious development and people’s unity. Water is the source of life, symbolizes purity, the hemisphere represents the sky, and the birds symbolize peace, hope, and friendliness.
