International cotton prices rose: There is no price increase plan for Taiwan's apparel retail

The international cotton price keeps rising and will also stand at a new high for 15 years. However, at present, many jeans and apparel brands in Taiwan do not plan to increase prices for autumn and winter goods.

As for the well-known fashion brand ESPRIT, which launched a variety of denim children's wear this autumn and winter, the Taiwan branch stated on the 18th that denim or cotton apparel did not receive news of price increases.

The well-known Canadian casual apparel brand Roots, which is made of 100% organic cotton, is welcomed by environmentalists. As early as 1989, Roots began trying to make products from organic cotton.

International cotton prices have been rising, but Li & Fung Group, which operates the Roots brand in Taiwan, said there is no news of price increases.

Levi's Taiwan Branch stated that the prices of autumn and winter commodities will not change. The Gaosa Group, which represents LEE and Wrangler jeans, stated that the raw materials for autumn and winter commodities this year were booked as early as the beginning of the year, so that autumn and winter goods would not be adjusted to zero.

Cheap clothing brands Giordano, HANGTEN also said that there is no plan to increase prices.
