The theme of this exhibition, “Breakthrough into the Butterfly”, originated from the “National Art Fund 2017 Annual Communication and Promotion Funding Project” jointly sponsored by South China Agricultural University, the People's Government of Lanbao Town and Xiangyun Hometown Cultural Development Co., Ltd. The tour includes four parts: press conference, summit forum, dynamic exhibition and static exhibition. According to the designer team, Xiangyun yarn is a unique silk fabric dyed by pure natural hand dyeing and finishing technology in Guangdong. It has the qualities of crisp texture, health care, cool and quick-drying, temperament and luxury. It is known as “soft” in textile fabrics. gold". However, defects such as single color, dull color, and high price limit the application of Xiangyun yarn in apparel. According to the advantages and disadvantages of Xiangyun yarn, the designer team boldly tried the design concepts of “non-legacy + fashion”, “non-legacy + non-legacy”, “non-legacy + culture” in the creative process, creating time width, The theme of water sound ladder, aloes scent, 疍 雅 韵 rhyme, ancient rhyme, sun, earth, and broken into butterflies. This costume work is based on the “National Intangible Cultural Heritage” Xiangyun yarn, which is unique to the Guangdong Pearl River Delta.
