China's textile machinery industry overall development is in good shape

The overall development of China's textile machinery industry is stable, and profits have increased year-on-year. According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in the first three quarters of 2013, the overall development of China's textile machinery industry was stable. The main business income of 718 textile machinery companies included in the statistics ranged from RMB 82.509 billion, an increase of 4.65% year-on-year; total profit was 52.42 Billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 693 million yuan; losses of loss-making enterprises was 343 million yuan, an increase of 12.17%, a loss of 14.90%. The total amount of imports and exports in the textile machinery industry was 5.003 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 3.88% year-on-year. Among them, imports of 3.149 billion US dollars, an increase of 0.37%, exports 1.854 billion US dollars, an increase of 10.44%.

From January to September, the investment in fixed assets of the textile machinery industry was 21.045 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 38.41%. Among them, the fixed assets investment in the textile machinery industry accounted for 3.19% of the fixed assets investment in the textile industry. The number of new projects started was 322, an increase of 14.32% year-on-year.

The three provinces of Jiangsu, Shandong, and Zhejiang are the major provinces for the production of textile machinery in China, accounting for two-thirds of the nation's total output from scale, revenue, profit, export delivery value, and total cost. Judging from the tracking of 107 key key enterprises, from January to September, the main business income and total profit have shown a growth trend. Among them, the main business income was 28.712 billion yuan, accounting for 1/3 of the total textile machinery industry; the total profit was 3.943 billion yuan, accounting for 3/4 of the total profit of the textile industry, and the profit rate was higher than the average profit rate of the whole industry. From January to September, the accumulated import and export volume of the textile machinery industry was US$5.003 billion, an increase of 3.88% year-on-year; exports were US$1.854 billion, a year-on-year increase of 10.44%. From January to September, the production and sales of different types of textile machinery are different. In cotton spinning machinery, sales of long-size compact spinning machines are good. From January to September, cotton spinning machines sold approximately 6.5 million spindles (including exports of approximately 1 million spindles), an increase of 18.18% year-on-year; of which, long-vehicle sales were approximately 3.4 million spindles, an increase of 19.72% year-on-year; aggregate spinning sales were approximately 3 million spindles, a year-on-year increase. 50%; automatic winder sales of about 680 units, a year-on-year decrease of 29.78%; imports of 1234 units, a year-on-year decrease of 30.56%. More than 350 clamps sold more than 880 combers, a year-on-year increase of 33.74%. The card-sweeping group sold about 300 lines (including 49 export lines), an increase of 14.50% year-on-year.

From January to September of this year, chemical spinning machinery sold more than 6,800 spinning machines for polyester filaments, a slight drop from the same period last year. Among them, the nylon filament spinning machine sold about 450 spinning positions, a year-on-year drop of 25%. Polyester staple fiber complete sets of equipment sold about 26 lines, forming a production capacity of nearly 400,000 tons; forming a production capacity decreased by 1/3 year-on-year. 10 lines of viscose fiber, forming a production capacity of about 80,000 tons, a year-on-year drop of 73%. About 1,430 stamping machines were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 25.31%.

From January to September, the overall market for nonwovens machinery sales was stable, and the domestic market was better than the export market. According to preliminary statistics, the polypropylene spunmelt (single-die and multi-die) production line sells about 70 lines, the polyester spunbond production line sells about 14 lines, and the acupuncture and spunlace production lines sell approximately 40 lines.

From January to September, the total sales volume of large and small circular weft machines reached more than 27,480 units, a year-on-year increase of 24.91%. Overall, the demand for high-end knitted circular knitting machines, such as fine gauge, jacquard machines, and transfer machines, has grown rapidly. With the shift of the low-end knitting industry to Southeast Asia, the knitting machines of many domestic manufacturers have begun to sell to Southeast Asia, and the volume of exports has increased significantly. In January-September, cross-machines shipped more than 48,000 units, a slight decrease from the same period last year.

From January to September, about 260 rotary screen printers were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 6.79%; flat screen printers were sold at nearly 44 units, an increase of 10% year-on-year; the market demand for setting machines and digital inkjet printers increased.
