Cao Yifen's Zisha works first appeared in Beijing

Cao Yufen was born in 1940 in the Tao family of Yishan Township, Yixing City, Jiangsu Province. In 1955, he worshipped Zhu Xixin as the master of purple sand art. Later, he was taught by masters such as Yan Shimin, Wang Qichun, and Gu Jingzhou, and was trained by the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts. In the 56 years since his career, he has created the ability of the directors of various companies, inherited the spirit of the past and created the unique artistic features. He devoted his life to the research and production of purple sand modeling design. Hundreds of pieces (sets) of innovative designs not only lost the historical tradition and culture, but also incorporated the concept of the era culture. He has won awards in international and national ceramics appraisals. Her works have successively won first prizes in the “Asia Pacific Ceramics Competition”, second prize in the “International Ceramic Boutique Grand Prix”, gold medals in “National Masters Exhibition”, and many other works. "Inlaid silver silk pot", "Yuan Lin Tiehing pot" and so on were respectively collected by Zhongguang Ziguangge, China Art Museum, Nanjing Museum and other important places. In 1990, Cao Yufen led his sons Fan Jianjun (Senior Fellow at the Research Level, Jiangsu Arts and Crafts Celebrity), Fan Jianhua (Senior Arts and Crafts Artist), Lu Jun (Craft Artist), and Fei Feiyuan (Craft Artist) to create the “Yuan” Lin Ge Zisha Art Studio” is determined to promote the handicraft technique of inheriting purple sand.

It is understood that the works debuted at this exhibition are not only the representative works of Cao Yufen in various periods but also the award-winning products that participated in various exhibitions and competitions.
