Xinjiang Aksu: Textile Industry City Speeds Up

Aksu textile industry has finally ushered in the spring of major development - as an important part of the strategy of the "two cities, seven parks and one center" of the autonomous region's cotton spinning industry, Aksu Textile Industry City has been fully launched.

Aksu is an important cotton producing area in China. The area of cotton in the entire region covers more than 4 million acres and the total output accounts for one-ninth of the country's total. However, for a long time, Aksu cotton is mainly exported for lint cotton, and the local cotton spinning industry is in a paralyzed state. Printing, dyeing, weaving, and garment processing have no way of talking about it. The industry chain is short and it is a sigh.

In 2010, with the help of the central government's new round of aid to the "East Wind", the Aksu Textile Industrial City project, which had been brewing for many years, was fully launched. At present, Aksu Textile Industrial City (Development Zone) has passed the examination and approval of the autonomous region, and all infrastructures have been stepped up. As of the end of last year, “Citywide” has introduced Zhejiang Huafu, Youngor, Yongxiang, Jiangsu Lianfa, Shanghai Baijin and a group of well-known textile companies in China, with 15 key textile projects, a contracting scale of 3 million spindles, and a total investment of 10 billion yuan. the above.

It is estimated that by the end of this year, Aksu Textile City will have a capacity of 600,000 spindles.

In order to support the construction of Textile City, the Aksu region introduced policies to integrate local cotton resources, requiring existing ginning factories to either newly build 50,000 or more-scale textile projects within three years, or to support textile companies that have settled in the textile city, and to banned one. Batches of small, scattered, disorderly ginning factories. Newly-introduced textile projects will be settled in textile cities in all counties and cities in the future. GDP and industrial output value will be returned to the introduction of counties and cities. Taxes will be divided into 7:3 ratios and textiles and textiles committees.

According to the plan, by 2015, Aksu Textile City will have a cotton spinning capacity of 3 million spindles, 10,000 air-jet spinning machines, 6,000 shuttleless looms, 314 million meters of machine weaving capacity, 78,000 tons of knitting capacity, and 10 cotton-m Ten thousand tons, achieving a sales income of 38 billion yuan.

The Textile City will create 68,000 jobs for Aksu and the entire South. Where does such a large team of industrial workers come from? The Akesu region will rely on regional vocational and technical institutes and other training institutions from now on, and will continue to deliver qualified labor to various textile companies. In 2011, it plans to transform 15,000 local college graduates and rural surplus laborers into textile workers through training.

“We plan to invest 400 million yuan in the construction of Aksu Textile City this year to build a 120,000 spindles spinning project. It is estimated that by the end of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, the total investment will reach more than 2 billion yuan, forming 60,000 tons of dyed Yarn and 500,000 spindles of colored textiles. Size.” The person in charge of Huafu Color Spinning Co., Ltd., the world's largest textile company, is confident in the prospects of Aksu Textile City.
