Recently, the fifth annual meeting of the Chinese Jade Culture Center was held in Hangzhou. In line with this annual meeting, a special exhibition of “Jade Yang Jiulian and Chu Tombs in Hubei Province†was launched in Liangzhu Museum, attracting people from all walks of life such as archaeology and collectors. The Jiulian Dun Tomb is quite famous in the archaeological circle. In 2002, Hubei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology excavated two tombs No. 1 and No. 2, which are the tombs of husband and wife. The owner of the tomb is a senior aristocrat of Chu State. In 2006, it was identified as a national-level cultural relics protection unit. More than 100 jade artifacts were unearthed. The pieces (sets) are the tombs of the Warring States that have seen the most unearthed jade articles. This exhibition exhibited 190 pieces of jade, which was also exhibited for the first time after the excavation. The variety covers a large wave of jade articles displayed, such as jade ring, jade pendant, jade bead, jade tube and jade belt hook. It is reported that the exhibition will last until March 18.
