On November 8, the national textile industry quality conference was held in Beijing. Gao Yong, vice president of China National Textile and Apparel Council, pointed out in his work report that the current quality work in the textile industry has made great progress and the quality standard system has been continuously improved, with 1,509 advanced standards.

According to the analysis of the report, there are 38 enterprise technology centers recognized by the countries in the industry. In 2010, the labor productivity of all employees reached 110,000 per year, an increase of 0.1 times from 2005. The data on the number of enterprises applying for the textile industry quality award in 2012 showed that the average intensity of the R&D investment of the reporting company was 3.67%, the rate of new product output was 50%, and the profit rate was 8.87%, which was far higher than the industry average.

At the same time, informatization has become the driving force for the development of enterprises. The total production line of the garment industry has approached 2,000, and the equipment update rate exceeds 60%. Equipment within 20 years now basically occupies the mainstream of the industry, and new equipment in the past 10 years also It has exceeded 50%. More than 53% of companies that have passed social responsibility certification have basically implemented relevant management systems. The time for purchase orders has dropped from the previous 50% to 12%, and the production cycle has been greatly shortened.

In the same period, the conference commended the advanced enterprises in the textile industry quality award and the implementation of the excellent performance model in the textile industry. It is reported that 10 companies such as Luthai Textile Co., Ltd. won the first “National Textile Industry Quality Award”; 15 companies such as Shandong Yuntao Home Textiles Co., Ltd. won the title of “Advanced Enterprise in Implementing Excellent Performance Model in the National Textile Industry”, Dali Silk ( Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. and Shandong Lichang Textile Technology Co., Ltd. won the "National Excellence Award for Advanced Performance in the Textile Industry."

Gao Yong said that the national textile industry quality award recognition activity aims to guide and motivate enterprises to implement the high performance model, and learn to use scientific management concepts, methods and models to enhance performance and competitiveness.

Experts at the meeting pointed out that strengthening training, deepening benchmarking, method advancement, and upgrading the quality of the textile industry are the major tasks faced by the textile industry in 2013.
